hotel facilities certainly need some update,
Central location and pleasant room.
arrived mid afternoon and was given a room with people already in it (1015). Next room had a dirty toilet and could have been dusted better (1007). Went to the bar to get a drink. The girl struggled to understand me and so after several failed attempts to order a fresh orange and lemonade I settle for a can of sprite. In front of me she poured the sprite or at least half of the can into a glass. Then when I asked for the rest of the can she looked surprised at the request. When paying I asked for a receipt only to be told I didn't tell her that at the start. She fumbled with the til before admitting defeat and calling a supervisor who then gave me a receipt. So it took me nearly 20minutes to get a drink from your bar. At this point I decided that I wasn't going to even look at your menu for dinner. I stayed two nights but whilst my room was serviced I was not particularly pleased to see that my bed was just re-maded without fresh sheets. It was clear that it was the same sheets as I had made a mark on the bed with my shoes the night before and it was still on it. Overall I didn't have the greatest experience and couldn't reccommend you to anyone else.
This hotel was awful, when arriving it had building work outside, in our room was a broken toilet seat, a broken television and remote control. The room was very unclean and the staff we useless. I would never ever recommend to stay at this hotel.
The location is excellent, very close to Oxford Circus and all the main tourist attractions. The room was very nice, with free internet on TV and a nice wireless keyboard.Though we didn't use them, there were coffee and tea facilities in the room, at users's discretion.
Convenient location. Very clean, nice room and spacious for London standards. Room was recently renovated with very nice bathroom. Superior Double room had daily water, newspaper and bathroom amenities provided. I would stay there again but would be careful of which room I am placed in.
The building exterior and public areas were not what I expected. The hotel is located from the 9th floor and up and we had the misfortune of being in a room adjacent to the lift which services up to the 8th floor. As such, there was a regular (at peak times almost constant) rumbling noise which made it very difficult to rest or listen to the TV on regular volume. Thankfully, at night, it was mostly quiet. Over the 4 nights there, some staff would tell us that the hotel was full and we could not be moved, while others would just say "Oh, it's the lift" and leave it at that when we complained about the noise. We found the regular Double-size bed in our Superior Double room to be somewhat small given that the room easily had the available space for a Queen-size bed. Oddly, our son's Standard Double room had a King-size bed in it which left little space to move in the room.
Location and good value for money (excluding breakfast)
The second room was rather small and bathroom handbasin was not up to standard
location 5 minutes on foot from Oxford Circus; rooms okay; luggage can be stored on day departure; nice bar on 15th floor with stunning view
Verry nice loccation
The hotel was very well placed centrally for visiting shops, theatres and galleries.museums. The room was very nice and the staff polite and helpful. Unfortunately we did not try the restaurant as we needed to depart asap due to weather conditions.
The location was excellent, near to shops, clubs and restaurants.
The hotel looks in need of a re-vamp, the bathroom was very poor with dirty sealant around the bath and sink.
The room was huge and very clean. The staff were extremely helpful. They helped me to get a cab from the street a few times. They even printed out some documents for me free of charge
The lift was big , just a little bit jerky sometimes. It was fast to get up to 10th floor.
Staff were very friendly &helpful convenient to under ground station.
Nice friendly hotel in the heart of London.
rooms are very nice & free movies
